E-mail/webspace issue on Saturn

** UPDATE 9.50am ** We have replaced the chassis and the machine is now booting up as normal. We will continue to monitor the situation and update if required. E-mails/websites may take a little longer than normal to retrieve until the server is fully up and running. **

** UPDATE 9am ** It appears the server has had a major hardware crash and engineers are currently working on restoring this. **

We are currently aware of an issue affecting the Saturn server. This will cause temporary loss of access to e-mails/webspace for customers who are hosted on Saturn.

Our engineers are working to rectify the issue and we shall post an update as soon as possible.

Planned Engineering Works – 4th August 2010

Engineers will be performing routine maintenance work. We have to carry out maintenance on our core routers in our Telehouse North site. As a result a temporary loss of routing may occur for a period of up to 10 minutes between midnight and 6am on 4th August 2010.

Update 6:35am – the issue has been resolved.

We are aware of a temporary network issue on the Saturn server affecting some email and webspace accounts.

Connectivity issue 21st July around 14:15

LINX services have now been restored and peering services are becoming available. Further information on LONAP will be issued as soon as it becomes available.

We have been alerted to a major power outage in Telehouse North TFM1. Presently this has affected LINX and LONAP peering resulting in decreased traffic though these peers.

Staff at Telehouse North are currently trying to rectifying the issue.

This will be affecting many ISP’s not just ADSL24.

Engineers are working on this and as soon as we have any further information we will update this post.

Planned Engineering Works – 21st July

The work will start on 21st July 2010 at 00:00 and is scheduled to end at 06:00.

BT have advised us that some routing re-configuration needs to be carried out to alleviate anticipated problems that would result in congestion on the network. Whilst this is undertaken, customers may experience a loss of service that may last up to 15 minutes. Re-connection of services should be automatic as the network resumes normal service.

Although we generally prefer to give much more advanced notice of such planned maintenance, BT have only just today informed us that this work may be service affecting and thus we’ve posted this message as soon as we were informed.

BT Service Outage on a few exchanges

BT have notified us of a localised service impacting failure.

BT are working with hardware vendors to investigate the fault.

Engineers have been despatched to site.

Issue with inbound phone calls to sales/support

System maintenance (not service affecting)
